PROM Juniors and Seniors:
Please be aware, as you were told when dues were paid and as stated in the Jefferson Parish Procedures and Policies for Parents and Students manual (green) and Helen Cox Student/Parent Handbook (red), the Attire for Prom is as follows: Girls: • Skirts MAY NOT BE SHORTER THAN 4 inches above your knee • Your top should be sufficiently covered meaning no low cut tops -- this is up to the discretion of the sponsors. • NO Low cut back – needs to fall around mid back (able to wear a strapless bra) • Sides must be covered and no bare midriffs (your tummy showing) • Skirt slits may not be higher than 6 inches above your knee * please exercise proper judgment on the size you take. Just because it zips/buttons, etc., does not mean that it fits.
Boys: • You may wear a suit with a tie or a Tux •NO SUNGLASSES inside
We reserve the right to refuse entrance to the prom to anyone we deem to be dressed inappropriately. If you have any doubt, please bring a front and back picture of your dress to Ms. Fuselier, Mrs. Alello, or Ms. Bailey. |
